Last time I posted here I said I was involved in the elections in the UK. For the record the candidate I was campaigning for as MP was elected, and the two councillor elections resulted in one success and one defeat, so I am happy with the result of my efforts.
TANK - A THANK YOU
I would like to thank Tank for giving me the opportunity to fight on IK one more time, it was fun but hard work.
A PYRRHIC VICTORY FOR [SLAYER]
The general Pyrrhus said: "If we are victorious in one more battle with the Romans, we shall be utterly ruined." A pyrrhic victory is a victory won at great cost to the victor, and this was the case for [Slayer] over the Tank accounts. In what turned out to be a smart move on the part of Tank he purchased three accounts to rebalance the huge advantage that [Slayer] and their allies had over [The Club]: hence [The Club] gained Eddie, David_Niven and Nemesis accounts adding perhaps a million ships to the [The Club] war effort. "Poison witch" Heather reacted to the news Tank had gained the Nemesis account from right under her nose in the same manner as the Witch in the Wizard of Oz having a house dropped on her sister.
Tank then pulled off another smart move and brought me in to fight on his accounts. It was a hard and testing fight but I was able to meet every military objective I set out to achieve:
- Keep [Slayer] occupied whilst Little and mark69 were building up their forces.
- Continue to keep [Slayer] amused whilst Little and mark69 launched on Fearless.
- Keep BigA off the back of Little.
- Pave the way for Ihsan to enter the war.
- Wipe out [Slayer] in ocean 4.
- Apart from Tamm clear all the [Slayer] fleets in ocean 5.
- Apart from Tamm destroy or cripple all the [Slayer] isles in ocean 5.
- Make sure no intact isles fell into the hands of [Slayer] in ocean 5.
- Turn ocean 5 into a killing field.
In effect [Slayer] lost between 1.5 to 2 million ships against the Tank accounts whilst gaining no intact isles in ocean 5, isles that will take at least two months to become even moderately useful to them. In addition many isles in ocean 4, 6, 14, 15 and 25 were also reduced to score 51 or crippled.
The smart moves by Tank turned the war in favour of [The Club].
Heather said:
"thanks for giving me something to do in this game, its been so dull and so I am not being sarcastic or anything, honestly you have fought well which makes a nice change from fighting idiots, you took a lot of risks sending out those fleets hoping to recolonize them so I admire that however stage 1 of my plan is now almost complete, I havent actually been trying to colonize your isles at all, just make you use up as many colony ships as possible whether that be by killing them or making you use them. now i have to start on stage two... more hours of clicking but I am sure it wont take too long now."

Now, even ten days later since the Tank account expended its last fleets in the war [Slayer] has still been unable to colonise all the isles on the "dead" account, leaving nine isles at score 51 left.
Personally I was disappointed that Ihsan was unable to enter the war where Tank left off, but that is the way it goes.
For [The Club] they were given the opportunity by the Tank accounts to recover lost ground and move from a losing to a winning position in the fight against the "Poison Witch" and her followers.
LITTLE BREAKS THROUGH 4000 BARRIER
[The Club] and [Slayer] may both be easing back after their intense period of fighting in recent weeks. mark69 [The Club] is settling back to consolidating his position after his invasion of ocean 31, he has moved up 5 isles in a week to 1632 isles. Little [The Club] has shot up over 100 isles since last blog update to 4010 isles. [Slayer] has some serious rebuilding ahead of them after expending thousands of ships on individual isles that were then reduced to score 51. [Slayer] have hundreds of isles that will take months of rebuilding in what took me seconds to destroy.
LITTLE BLACKS OUT BLACKOUT
Despite the treaty between [DL.Elite] and [The Club] the [DL.Elite] member Blackout was attacking [The Club] via the Fearless account. After Little [The Club] had destroyed Fearless in ocean 1 he moved against the treaty breaker and wiped out Blackout.
PUREONE DEFEATED IN OCEAN 31
Two ocean strongholds of Pureone [Slayer] were captured by [The Club] in recent weeks with mark69 [The Club] capturing ocean 31 and Little [The Club] ocean 1. The multi account of M8KWR is now down to just 53 isles.
DONE IN THE NAME OF OOGLAK
According to "Poison Witch" Heather she attacked Tank to avenge Ooglak the Orc who fell in a campaign by Tank over a year ago on IK. Heather said on the BigA PD:
"Tank is now fleetless. five tank owned accounts destroyed. For my friend Ooglak. sorry it took me so long to keep my promise to you, Oh how i miss you, the ocean is so silent without your wretched wailing :( "
RAVEN BUYS ANOTHER ACCOUNT
Raven [Ravens] has money to splash around as our sources tell us that she has purchased her third account Hannibal for £40. Raven owns Fishcult and Kozmik which she has given to friends to play.
INSELKAMPF DOMAIN STILL TO BE RENEWED
A key date for IK players could be 18 July 2010 as IK domain inselkampf.co.uk still remains unrenewed.
LITTLE IS HUNGRY
Little is looking for a new target having feasted on the remains of Blackout. You have been warned!
IK LOSSES STABALISE
IK player losses have stabilised at between 360-370 accounts, although this may change now Summer is coming in and exams and holidays become more important. Over half the IK accounts are now multi accounts.
IT IS FUN FUN FUN FOR VOIDEDGE
During the week I was away Voidedge [Zebra?] has been busy attacking all manner of targets. [Ravens] found Voidedge a bigger fish than they could handle and are still fighting him over a month after they started their aggression against him. A full report on Voidedge's war will be made tomorrow. The latest success for Voidedge was a kampf of his level 1 wall against a [Ravens] fleet:
