On occasion I will add a few postings for the sake of history on what happened in IK.

After I left IK in July 2010 Little, mark69 and Boots25 joined forces with a few other accounts to form a number one alliance called [OS]. The new alliance [OS] declared war on three lower alliances: [DA], [-DL-] and [IX]. By the end of September 2010 [OS] has grown fatter on isles, whilst the rivals got weaker, although the war is still raging, and will do so for many months to come. Little [OS] is approaching 5000 isles at 4985 isles and Ihsan [DA] benefited increasing his total by 150 isles to 726 isles.
IK baby M8KWR joined [OS] and threatened to destroy all the rival alliances, who all made him a target, and kicked the baby all over IK. M8KWR became the laughing stock of IK when he was suckered into buying six accounts from IK's former number one cheat The_Eraser for over £300. Predictably M8KWR was unable to manage so many accounts and had to get help from others, he has been using all his accounts to bully the smaller alliances and players in a display of "what a big boy I am", but is the brunt of many giggles and much mirth as his fleets blunder around like a drunken spider.
Tank made an appearance on IK to found an interplay of two alliances called [Debonair] rank 5 and [Panache] rank 6 to provide a focal point for chatter and socialising.The combined interplay has 35 members accounting for 10% of IKmembership.The interplay is not involved in the war.Members of the the alliances opposing [OS] complained that interplays were killing the game in reference to Tanks alliances, but in truth Tank has probably kept people playing IK with his actions.
IK at the time of writing has 302 player accounts, a surprise, since I had considered IK would have fallen to below 250 accounts by now. There are 40 alliances on IK, which still include my former Firefox interplay alliances [Vikings] at number 7 and [Firefox] at number 10.
Jade the former original owner of Tantalus account continues to keep the Firefox spirit alive as admin of [Firefox] and the alliance has 17 members. IvoryDrive keeps the DeathWish alliance [D_W] name alive, which is at alliance rank number 31.
Other bits of news to reach my ears is that Vaxpire [Debonair] got his account trashed by a trusted account sitter, and had to leave the war against [OS]. Steven Hills IK colotool vanished along with his web site, but he promises to bring his IK colotool back. Steven Hills also insists that his colotool does not put viruses on people's computers, although it was mark69 [OS] who was the one who said the IK colotool placed a virus on his computer.
Some complaints were made that the IK forum was dead, apart from the occasional post by Tank on his "blog".
Sven Scramm renewed his IK inselkampf.co.uk domain for one further year.
The IK rival Islandor by the computer hacker Adam Gibbins hit the rocks as everyone decided to play simcity rather than war with each other. Gibbins brought out his IK clone years too late to make any money from his venture, as the IK mania has now evaporated.
